You’re in the middle of something.

Not a crisis exactly. Not the other side yet. Just that uncomfortable, disorienting stretch where the old version of your life no longer fits and the new one hasn’t taken shape.

That’s where I come in.

My name is Rachelle, and I founded North Node Local because that in-between space is where I’ve spent a lot of my own life — and where I’ve learned the most about what real support actually looks like.

I grew up navigating things kids shouldn’t have to. I became a mother young. I’ve searched for purpose across decades, wrong turns, and unexpected teachers. Along the way I found the Hero’s Journey — not as a metaphor, but as a genuine map for what happens when a life shifts. The call. The threshold. The descent into the unknown. The return. I had lived every stage of it without a name for what I was moving through. That framework changed everything.

Life has been my greatest teacher. The searching, the losses, the reinventions, the moments of standing at a crossroads with no clear direction — all of it shaped how I show up for others. I hold a life coaching and death doula certification, but what informs how I actually practice runs much deeper than any credential. It’s the lived experience of finding footing on uncertain ground, over and over again.
What I offer is not therapy. It’s not coaching in the traditional sense.
It’s grounded, integrity-based support for people moving through real change — offered with honesty, without performance, and without pretending this is simpler than it is.
